Last night, The Late Late Show host James Corden premiered the musical parody “No Lockdowns Anymore,” based on the opening number “Good Morning Baltimore” from the Tony-winning musical Hairspray, in celebration of the end of pandemic lockdowns in California and New York. Joining Corden were Marissa Jane Winokur, the Tony-winning star who played Tracy Turnblad in the original 2002 stage production, and Ariana Grande, who played Tracy’s best friend Penny Pingleton in the 2016 NBC-TV live broadcast of the musical.
