2013 Golden Globe Nominations

This morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for its 70th Golden Globe Awards. Among films, the recent adaptation of the musical Les Misérables picked up four nominations, including Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) for Hugh Jackman, Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Anne Hathaway, and Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for “Suddenly” by composer Claude-Michel Schonberg and lyricist Alain Boublil. Among television programs, the musical series Smash is on the short list for Best TV Series (Comedy). Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-host the awards ceremony, which will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 13, 2013, by NBC.
